Girl Scouts of Nassau County is proud to announce that Leslie Segrete received the "Juliette Low Award of Distinction" at our 21st Annual Luncheon on October 30, 2007 at The Garden City Hotel.

Leslie received this award for her numerous contributions to Girl Scouting. Most recently, she conducted a workshop teaching girls how to make cage comforters for a local animal shelter.

According to Leslie, Girl Scouting has been a very important part of her life. She credits Scouting with teaching her to be creative on a limited budget, which she utilizes everyday in her various projects.

We hope you will join us in saluting this remarkable young woman for her hard work and influence on girls. As a fan, you can recognize Leslie by making a donation in her honor or place an ad in our Journal.
